“If so, then there should be some correct scientific theory of consciousness, whether or not we can arrive at such a theory.†

Only if U are convinced the method of science is applicable in this special case – for ’tis only our selves that we concern ourselves with.

Als je het non-lineaire karakter – met meerdere niveaus – van het bewustzijn, dat geen bewustzijn blijkt, over het hoofd ziet, dan heb je het niet gezien.

Overigens – waarom zou het bewustzijn zichzelf etaleren als “consciousness?

Hoe verwonderlijk is dat wanneer de gedachte toe slaat dat het zo is!”

Iets strenger geformuleerd – het idee dat het zo is slaat telkens toe op het moment dat je niet direct een tweede perspectief wordt aangeboden:
